Love and attachments

Today is Christmas Eve. Christians around the world celebrate the birth of Christ; this highlights God's selfless dedication of His unique Son to humanity, without any conditions, and demonstrates God's boundless, action-oriented love.

"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."John 3:16..

There are 2 things that many people are mistaken - love and attachment. To love is always giving and never receiving, not even expecting a reciprocation of any kind. But attachment is the opposite. It always receives and depending on it.

 If someone  says, "I love you", because he or she is expecting something from you, it is an attachment, not love. Attachment is what makes people sad when they fail to get what they expect from. Therefore, in order to be happy and peaceful, stay out of attachments at all costs. Attachments can bring us many pains and sadness.🙏

今天是平安夜。世界各地的基督徒慶祝基督的誕生；這凸顯了上帝對人類無私奉獻祂獨一無二的兒子，不附加任何條件，彰顯了上帝浩瀚無垠、以行動為導向的愛。

「神愛世人，甚至將祂的獨生子賜給他們，叫一切信祂的人，不至滅亡，反得永生。」約翰福音 3:16

很多人對兩件事理解有誤──愛和執著。愛是永遠付出而不求回報，甚至不期待任何形式的回應。而執著則恰恰相反，它總是索取並依賴於此。

如果有人說“我愛你”，卻只是因為有所期待，那不是愛，而是執著。執著會讓人在得不到想要的東西時感到悲傷。因此，為了獲得幸福與平靜，請務必遠離執著。執著會帶給我們許多痛苦和悲傷 。 🙏
