retired at the age of 55

 I retired at the age of 55. The train of my carrier had arrived at its station. Standing on the platform, there' I found no one to greet me.

I still remember when I was 17, leaving home for the first time, embarking on a journey out of my comfort zone. Mama said, "Take good care of yourself, don't forget to take your meals." On the way to the airport, I fought back my tears.

I used to care too much about what people thought. Now, I realised most weren’t thinking about me at all. Everyone was too busy worrying about themselves. 

Now at 55, the corporate world once a vibrant workplace was actually like a train that never stops. No matter what you did or did not do, it would  keep moving forward, just like the train that briefly stopped at a station and continued its journey.

我55歲退休。我職業生涯的列車已經到站。站在月台上，卻沒有人迎接我。

 我至今仍記得17歲那年，我第一次離家，踏上了走出舒適圈的旅程。媽媽叮嚀我：「好好照顧自己，別忘了吃飯。」送她去機場的路上，我強忍著淚水。

我曾經太在意別人的看法。現在我才明白，大多數人根本沒把我放在心上。每個人都忙著操心自己的事情。

如今到了55歲，曾經充滿活力的企業界其實就像一列永不停歇的火車。無論你做什麼或不做什麼，它都會繼續向前，就像火車會在車站短暫停留，但隨後繼續它的旅程。
